What is a Kwikshade?

We cannot claim to have invented the Sailshade. The concept of using a sheet of material suspended at three or more points dates back to ancient times.  However, we have refined this concept, using modern material and Computer Aided Design techniques to provide a long lasting, static product bringing the Sailshade right up to date. We have called our version ‘Kwikshade’ (with apologies to all you plain English fans). A Kwikshade is a unique structure designed to make an ordinary environment extraordinary, whilst providing valuable protection from the harsh effects of the summer sun.

Our Kwikshade is a true “anticlastic” sail with a computer generated 3D shape to minimise ̒ blowing in the wind'.

Each ‘Kwikshade’ is individually designed for your needs. Once the fixings are in place, exact measurements are taken and the Kwikshade is modelled by our CAD team, prior to patterning, to create a structure that is truly three dimensional.
 
Our Kwikshades are Inherently fire retardant and manufactured using dimensionally stable, long lasting material, which – in turn – allows us to provide you with our unique 20 year guarantee.

Kwikshade structures can vary immensely in size from relatively small 3m x 3m x 3m triangles to huge expanses covering seating areas in stadiums.

Kwikshades are available in a range of sizes, shapes and colours.
