At Fairlawn’s Hotel & Spa in Birmingham, Owner John Pette wanted to create a new covered terrace area that could be utilised all year round for weddings and parties.

"The installation has really exceeded our expectations. The retractable canopy covers a huge area and has allowed us to create a great link between the buildings and our gardens. We wanted to have flexibility with cover retraction and through constructing in three modules we have achieved just that. The guests are really enjoying the area and it provides a real point of difference for our wedding and party guests - especially with the demand for outside weddings but unreliability of the British weather. We are really delighted and are looking to extend our other patio area and install another cover there."
